Paul Zickefoose
I am the Principal at Valley Head Elementary School. I received a B.A. degree in Music Education K-12 from Alderson Broaddus College in 1990. During my Senior year, I received the W. Lee and Alberta Williams Music Award which is by faculty nomination and voted upon by the music faculty. I began my teaching career in 1990 with the Randolph County School System as an itinerant choral director/music teacher and served Tygarts Valley High School, Pickens School, and Valley Head Elementary School. I was a Randolph County Teacher of the Year Nominee in 1993 and 1997.
I am an active Volunteer for Tyrand Cooperative Ministries and in 1994 was named Volunteer of the Year. I direct the Tyrand Community Choir and Tyrand Community Children's Choir. I am also actively involved in the week long summer day camp program.
I currently serve on the Randolph County Staff Development Council, am the secretary/treasurer for the executive board of the West Virginia All-State Children's Chorus, and am Director of Music at the Mt. View Church of the Nazarene.
