School Supplies

Here are lists of supplies which the
teachers ask every child to have at
the beginning of the new school year.
They are listed by grade level.

 

1ST GRADE:

Mrs. Sinkule

1. Two small plastic containers with lids - no bigger than 8 oz. - margarine-type containers, small enough to fit in our school desks.
2. One squeeze bottle of school glue or several glue sticks
3. One box of crayons - any size
4. One pair of scissors
5. One folder with two bottom pockets - folders with pockets along the sides don't work as well for fitting all our papers into.
6. Pencils as needed
7. Bookpack or bookbag
8. One box of Kleenex
No trapper keepers - they don't fit in the desks.

Mrs. S. White

1. Crayons (Jumbo - eight)
2. Jumbo pencils
3. Folder (homework)
4. Glue (squeeze bottle)
5. Scissors
6. Three-ring binder (1 ½" to 2" rings), no paper


 

2nd GRADE:

1. 3 pocket folders
2. Glue (glue stick and liquid bottle)
3. Small school-supply box that will fit into their desk.
4. Box of tissues
5. 4 wide-ruled spiral notebooks (with at least 70 pages)
6. sharp pointed scissors (Fiskars recommended)
7. 2-3 pencils
8. Box of 24 crayons (will fit in supply box)
9. clipboard (size of a sheet of paper)
10. highlighter
Please no trapper keepers - they are too big for the students' desks.
The child's name should appear on their supplies.

 

3rd GRADE:

1. One box of crayons (no larger than 24)
2. a supply of standard #2 pencils (just bring in 2 or 3 at a time) and an eraser
3. 4 packages of wide-ruled notebook paper (bring only one to school at a time)
4. 6 pocket folders
5. One box of tissue
6. 2 glue sticks or one bottle of glue
7. 2 70-page wide-ruled notebooks
8. supply box
9. One red marking pen
10. a pair of sharp scissors
11. colored pencils (optional)
12. book bag.
13. One box of zip-lock bags (any size)
14. Multiplication flash cards (by November)
Please no trapper keepers.

 

4th GRADE:


1. Scissors
2. Crayons
3. Pencils
4. Pens
5. Ruler
6. Glue
7. Box of facial tissues
8. Notebook
9. Notebook paper
10. Red pen
11. Spiral notebooks-the children will need at least two per subject. One will be used as a journal.

 


5th GRADE:


1. One box of tissues (to be shared by all)
2. Paper
3. Pencils
4. Colored pencils
5. $4.25 for TIME FOR KIDS magazine
6. Three separate spiral notebooks
7. Know your multiplication tables

 

T-LAB:


1. Two boxes of tissues
2. Change of clothes
3. Diapers if needed
4. Any special equipment
5. Snacks or money for snacks (examples: popcorn, Oreos, animal crackers, raisins, marshmallows, or popsicles)
6. Juice
7. One box of wet wipes
8. Comb and/or brush
9. Box of 48 or 64 crayons, some #2 pencils (Mrs. Friddle's class only)
