School Rules...

General:

1. We do not permit gum any place in the building before, during, or after school.
2. If you enter the building with gum or candy in your mouth, dispose of it in the waste basket after wrapping it in paper.
3. Leave guns or knives at home.
4. Sidewalks are to walk on - not lawns flowers, or bushes. This includes school and home lawns.
5. Go directly home after school. You may return to play on the school playground   if you have your parent's permission.
6. We ask parents and visitors to report directly to the school office. It is necessary that we know who is in the building at all times. Parents picking up children at school are to report to the office, not to individual classrooms. up children at school are to report to the office, not to individual classrooms. If you will   let us know when you intend to pick up your child at school, the student can be waiting in the office at the specified time.

Hall Rules:

1. Walk on the right side of the halls. This avoids bumping into other children.
2. Be safe always. We do not allow pushing. Pushing is always dangerous.
3. No running in the hallways or the classrooms.
4. Go straight to your destination. Do not hang around.
5. Don't be a litterbug; put all waste material in a trash can.
6. Use soft voices inside and particularly in the halls.
7. Shake off excess snow on boots and coats before entering the building. In bad   weather, remove boots before entering your classroom.

Lunchroom Rules:

The school lunch period should be a pleasant experience for students. Both hot and cold lunch students are to eat in the cafeteria.
1. Students should be seated and talk in low tones.
2. Students may not throw food or any other objects.
3. Students are not to touch food on another person's tray or to share food from their lunch. The passing or sharing of food only leads to the spread of germs.

Playground Rules:

1. Students need to stay in view of teacher or person in charge at all times.
2. We do not allow excessive rowdiness and rough play.

Book Rules:

1. Each student is responsible for their own materials. If any textbooks are lost or   damaged, the student is responsible for buying another book to replace it.
2. Be proud of your books. Do not write in them.
3. Take your books home in a book bag and sure that they are kept dry.

Bicycle Rules:

1. Students planning to ride a bicycle to school must get the proper form from the   office and have it filled out by their parents. This form is to be signed by the parents and child.
2. Bicycles are to be ridden for transportation to and from school only.
3. Bicycles must be placed in the bike rack provided at the front of the building.
4. We Strongly recommend a bicycle lock.
