Although the weekend is full of celebration, we still set aside time to remember those who are serving or have served in the U.S. military. We do this by holding two services, one at each National Cemetery in Taylor County.

The first service takes place on that Sunday and normally features the Taylor County Middle School Marching Band and All-County Chorus with patriotic music. The second service takes place on Monday morning after the parade is finished and features the Grafton High School Marching Band and Taylor County Middle School 7th and 8th Grade Choir with patriotic music. Both services includes speeches and a twenty-one gun salute followed by taps, played by trumpet players of the school bands. The Grafton National Cemetery service includes a presentation of wreaths. The pictures that follow are of both cemeteries and can be clicked on to show a larger version.
