Skyschool will form new teams for our collaborative venture again next February.
In the mean time, any class who at anytime wishes to make a glider, please do so and send us your data results. We will post your results on the Flight Result page.  Please include school, city, state, and country.
Feb. 16
Registration closes. Schools will be notified of entry. Participants names and e-mail addresses will be listed at the Skyschool.
Feb. 19-23
As a class, write an introductory message and send copies to everyone in the project. Briefly, tell us about your school and community. Please give longitude and latitude so we can practice our map skills. We plan to mark a wall map with large colored thumbtacks of locations of all participants. We may want to calculate the air miles to fly to all our locations.
Feb. 26
Deadline for transmission of introductory letters.
Feb. 26-30
Form construction teams by dividing your class into teams of three or four students.  Begin construction of aircraft models. Teams may construct their own models, or see the Cyber Skyschool site for instructions on making a Cuderia Flyer. Pattern can be made by laying your paper on the monitor and tracing the model.  Each student should make their own glider.
Mar. 2-6
Teams test fly model aircraft. Record data on data sheets (available at the Skyschool).  Have each team calculate the median and average of the longest distances flown.  Teams may graph their results. Compile the team results for your school and send by e-mail to all the participants.
Mar. 9
Deadline for transmission of test flight data.  Flight results will be posted at the Skyschool web site.
 Mar. 9-13
Change from construction teams into research teams.  Have each team brainstorm research questions on flying.  Each team should choose just one question that they would like to research and report their question to the whole class. (Teachers need to make sure the questions require more than one word answers and would warrant a short report.)  The class is then to send the team questions by e-mail to all participants. Then start your research using traditional and telecommunications. Please note web links that you use.  Questions may be changed or expanded as needed.  Just let us know.
Mar. 16
Deadline for transmission of team questions.
Mar.13--Apr.13

Research teams do research and write up summaries of what they learn.  Share your research reports with your class and then e-mail all the teams' reports of your school to all participating schools.
Apr. 16
Deadline for sending research reports of your school's teams to all participants by e-mail.  We will send Cyber Skyschool Graduation Certificates to all teams that complete all requirements.
