The Randolph County Outdoor Education Program and / or our web site
have received the following awards and / or mentions :

In 2001, the Izaak Walton League of America awarded the pretigious James Lawton Childs Award
to the West Virginia Mountaineer Chapter in Randolph County (near Beverly) for hosting the Randolph County Outdoor Education program and recognizing the chapter and its volunteer members for the conservation program they have established to protect outdoor America.
