Natural Lifeways Inc.

Environmental Improvement Consulting

Natural LifewaysÔ Corporation is a universal organization working to develop commonwealth economies, natural personal lifestyles and more ecological communities in the central Appalachian area and around the Earth.

As part of this mission, we seek to consult with other organizations in collaborative ways that lead directly to the improvement of environments for people, communities and for the Earth as a whole. We think globally and work locally with you. Our primary community program is called the West Virginia Sustainable Community Design Team.

We operate in a contract-specified, team-based model that provides our clients with a broad and adaptive base of intelligence, reasoning, expertise and social networks to draw upon, as they are actually needed.

We focus our consulting work on research for development: development of your operations that results in environmental improvement. We produce policies, programs and projects that work to produce tangible changes in specified environments.

We ask interested parties to begin collaborating with us by reviewing descriptions of some of our recent consulting projects posted below. Paper and disk copies of recent project reports are also available by mail from our lead consultant.

Next, contact our lead consultant to arrange a free half-day of demonstration work at your organization. During this half-day, some of our team members will discuss your ideas and a strategy for change through our consulting work.

The result of these no-obligation negotiations will be a consulting contract proposal with projected schedules and budgets. Your signatory approval marks the start of our formal work in the contract period.

Our rates are your rates: We work on a contract-hour basis at the median rate for mid-level managers in your organization with education to the masters and doctorate levels and 10 or more years of experience.

We specialize in performing 5 major organizational strategies:

1. Research and development of new governance and policy initiatives;

2. Cooperative marketing and sales services that assist in public relation campaigns to begin the implementation of governance and policy changes;

3. Conducting quarterly meetings to guide governance, executive and membership groups;

4. Financial policy administration, and

5. Ecological resource management.

Our Ecology Office services include:

Confidential management advising, small group, team-based consulting, marketing and public relations projects, temporary project staffing, contract administration and client-specific services.
