WV Eco-tours cost $10.00 per person, including transportation, materials and lunch. Children under 12 are free. We may cancel any tour at our discretion. Refunds are available with 24 hours notice.

July 5: Take a vacation break.

July 12: Herb Garden & Bed and Breakfast Tours. See how organic and sustainable gardens grow at several B&B locations in central WV near Weston.

July 19: Shady places, shaded faces; a study of life among the rocky overhangs and shelters of an upland forest. Otter Creek wilderness area near Elkins.

July 26: Water's edge: a study of partially aquatic and partly land-based organisms in the Audra State Park area.

August

August 2: Don't Bug Me Study: Inspect the large variety of insects and habitats around fields and forest areas. Burnsville Lake WMA, Burnsville, WV.

August 9: River Ecology Study: Inspect the West Fork (Monongahela) River at low flow to learn how a river works to support Life. Jackson's Mill area, Weston, WV.

August 16: Highland Breezes Study: Join an excursion to Dolly Sods in Tucker County to revel in the high mountain air and natural splendor of the Sods area. Davis, WV area.

August 23: What's in the Water? Study: Learn to find and observe aquatic organisms in the Cheat river while keeping cool in the 'dog days'. Stuart Recreation Area, Monongahela National Forest near Elkins.

August 30: Water's edge: a study of water conditions and aquatic organisms in the Audra State Park area.

September

September 6: Fungi Amongi Study: Learn how to recognize common fungi and enjoy late summer trails at Holly River State Park.

September 13: Signs of Early Fall. Look for fruits and changes in leaf color around the Elk River wildlife management area.

September 20: Early Fall Color Development: Monongahela National Forest area, Davis WV. This study is part of the Leaf Peepers festival and the Fall Equinox retreat of United Natural WV.

September 27: Fungi Amongi Study: Learn how to recognize common fungi and enjoy early Fall trails at Cedar Creek State Park, Glenville, WV.
