Fall Preparations: Studies this weekend will focus on the ways that animals and plants prepare to face dormant season in the forest at Burnsville Lake near Burnsville, WV.October 18th:
Full Fire Fall Foliage: We will saturate our senses with the sensations of the fall color season in the luscious environs of Holly River State Park near Hacker Valley, WV.October 25th:
Fields and Streams of Fall: Share the dramatic changes of this season in the fields and streams of Watter Smith State Park area near West Milford, WV.November
November 1st:
What the Fell 1? Explore the forest floor and tally the results of the great Fall. We'll study the fruits, and plant fragments newly lain upon the ground at Holly River State Park, near Hacker Valley, WV.November 8th:
Natural farm ecology in the last century: We will study the practices and consequences of 18th and 19th century agriculture in the Watter Smith State Park near West Milford, WV.November 15th: Soil What? Dig into a study of soils around the Burnsville Lake wildlife management area. We'll relate soil conditions to a variety of water and geologic variations in the watershed of the Little Kanawha River.
November 22nd: What the Fell 2? Explore the great Fall. We'll study the fruits, and plant fragments newly lain upon the ground at Stonewall Jackson State Park, near Weston, WV.
November 23rd-30th: Give thanks for Mother Nature's bounty and prayers for all Life on earth.

Winter Solstice Weekend. Join United Natural West Virginia, WV Eco-tourism Association and Natural Lifeways Inc. for quarterly meetings and field studies Contributions are accepted for WV-registered environmental non-profit organizations.
