WELCOME!

ABOUT HARMAN SCHOOL. . .

We are located in the rugged mountainous area of central West Virginia approximately twenty-five (25) miles east of Elkins, WV. Harman School is the last of a breed, being one of the few schools in the state that serves kindergarten through twelfth grade. The student population is 225. We have thirty-one (31) dedicated and experienced staff members.

Our students may participate in a variety of clubs such as FFA, FBLA, SADD, and Bible Club. We field boys and girls varsity and junior high basketball and baseball teams as well as cheerleading. Upper-level elective high school courses are offered, as well as dual credit college classes through Marshall University.   Students use the Internet for research in both class work and careers.  Virtual school is also available to students seeking advanced classes.

Harman School is small and remote, but due to great community support, a strong competent staff, a student body dedicated to learning, and use of modern technology, we are able to prepare our students for the Twenty-first century.

We hope you enjoy browsing our web site.
