Any senior interested in attending the WV Business College, see Mrs. Poe for scholarship information.

WV Lions Youth Camps and Exchange Scholarship contest applications are available. This scholarship provides funds for grades 10-12 toward a 6 week cultural exchange to Finland, Japan or Australia.

Seniors – The WV Pumpkin Festival Scholarship is open to any graduation senior planning to attend a public WV college or university. Applications are due March 31^st.

The James “Jim” Bailey scholarship applications are available. This award is for students intending to enroll in a 2 year trade or technical school. Deadline is April 2008.

The WV Italian Heritage Festival scholarship applications are in guidance office. You must be of Italian descent in order to be eligible. Deadline is April 1^st.

Seniors: The P.G. & Ruby Rush Scholarship applications are in guidance office. This is based on financial need for students attending a private college in WV. Deadline is April 29^th.

Are you a 17 or 18 year old guy? Do you want to keep your driver’s license, be eligible for college loans, job training, government jobs, and citizenship if you’re an immigrant? Then make sure you register with Selective Service within a month of your 18^th birthday. Federal law says you must register with Selective Services. If you don’t you miss out on all of these opportunities and more. Don’t let that happen to you! It’s quick and easy to register. It only takes a few minutes to register online at www.sss.gov. Or, you can register at the post office. Ask Mrs. Poe for more information and make sure you remember to register. Future opportunities depend on it!
