"Buck" from Yvonne's Place
We received Flat Bucky as an attachment to an email message from the first graders at GermantownAcademy, in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania.They are studying animals and are interested in learning about the animals which are native to our area. After we printed Flat Bucky, we took him to the Post Office in Burnsville, West Virginia to have him postmarked before we mailed him back to his home state. Lucky for him, deer season (for bucks) had not yet arrived!
You can share in Bucky's travels and learn about the animals he has visited by visiting the Flat Bucky web site. There you will find listed each participating school's name, location, email address, and native animals. All the Flat Buckys sent by the participants will be placed on a giant world map
in their classroom to visually depict Flat Bucky's travels.
