TECHNOLOGY 

   The student population which is now served by Anna Jarvis Elementary is going to function long into the next century. In order to do that, they must have mastery of computer technology. Our school is now using more computer technology as part of our teaching strategy to aid student learning.

   At the present time we have over 200 networked IBM Computers distributed into two computer labs and all classrooms. Our students receive 100 minutes a week using Compass Software. All of our classrooms also have IBM Computers. We use the television, vcr's, projection devices, digital cameras, camcorders, cd players, tape players, dvd players and multimedia computers to motivate our students.  We have access to the Internet in our library, school office, and each classroom.

Please Remember:

1. Computer should be placed in a high traffic area.
2. Monitor should always be visible.
3. Children should always be supervised while using the internet.
4. Remind your child Never give out any type of personal   information over the internet!
