LITERATURE

• Reading together

• Acting out plays

• Read books for Accelerated Reader
• Take Accelerated Reader tests

• CD computer programs for all subjects

• Print Shop to create projects

MATH

• Develop thinking skills
• Use strategies to win
• Practice for WESTEST test
• Fun with pentominoes, tangrams, and dominoes
• And much, much, more!

Each night's session is two hours long.

The program is grade specific with first graders attending on Mondays, second graders on Tuesdays, third graders on Wednesdays, and fourth and fifth graders on Thursdays.

Each afternoon begins with a FREE snack. Then students rotate to each of the three activities for a 30 minutes highly interactive session.

By participating in the Extended Day Program, students are more likely to improve their WESTEST scores.

Our program is FREE to the students. It is financed by grants.
